ARLINGTON, TX — Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones held a press conference Thursday to announce the installation of a second retractable roof on his office at AT&T Stadium, which already features a retractable roof that cost $150 million when the stadium was built in 2009.
"The first roof retracts east to west," Jones explained. "This one retracts north to south. That gives me options. I like options."
The Cowboys have not won a Super Bowl since 1995. Jones said the new roof would not affect that.
Construction on a third roof, which will retract diagonally, is expected to begin in the spring.
